BJJ FAQ

I've never trained before. Is that OK?
Yes. A lot of members start from zero. The fundamentals pathway is there to help you learn safely and build confidence.
Do I need to be fit first?
No. You build grappling fitness by training. Start at your own pace and let the coaches guide you.
What is the difference between Gi and No-Gi?
Gi uses the traditional kimono jacket and trousers. No-Gi is trained in shorts and a rash guard, with a faster grip style.
Can I compete?
Yes. If competition is your goal, the Saturday class and regular live rounds give you a strong base.
